Kansas Humanities Council’s “Talk About Literature” Program


The Augusta Public Library
will offer a three-part book discussion series September through November on the theme “Kansas at 150.”  Members of the community are invited to attend the free programs, which will take place at the Library.

Meeting times are as follows:

Saturday, September 9 at 10:30 It Happened in Kansas by Susan Smarsh.

Saturday, October 14 at 10:30 Kansas Poems of William Stafford edited by Denise Low

Saturday, November 4 at 10:30 Now Let Me Fly by Marcia Cebulska

All three books are available for check-out at this time and are not due back until after the final program.  Patrons are urged to attend even if they have been unable to complete reading the books.
